friend.
Wednesday, June 27, 2007

According to dictionary.com, a friend is:
–noun
1.a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.
2.a person who gives assistance; patron; supporter: friends of the Boston Symphony.
3.a person who is on good terms with another; a person who is not hostile: Who goes there? Friend or foe?
4.a member of the same nation, party, etc.
5.(initial capital letter) a member of the Religious Society of Friends; a Quaker.
–verb (used with object)
6.Rare. to befriend.
7.make friends with, to enter into friendly relations with; become a friend to.

i think , for most of us, it is point 1 and 7 that often defines our relationship with another.

However, an evil relationship called "being attached to the opposite sex" sometimes steals point 1 and 7 away.

What is the point i am making? The point i am making this is once this "attachment" starts,
friends become no. 2, and the other sex you are attached becomes number 1.

Note, this is from experience with some of my friends.

Oh, i've made a mistake.
Suddenly with a girlfriend/boyfriend, friends gets pushed from near the top, to like the last person you would wanna meet.

This is of course you are near the top from the start!

LOL.
i've been rambling and ranting from start to finish.
so i'm gona stop.
+)
good luck yer all.

bored. post.
Tuesday, June 26, 2007

nothing is interesting, for those that interests me are nothing.
so with that, nothing is interesting, and only something is minutely interesting.
and that minutely interesting something does not compare to the relatively interesting thing.
and so with all the uninteresting and interesting things, what things are actually interesting?

good question.
i dont know

FURTHER REPORTING ORDER
Thursday, June 21, 2007

You are required under the Enlistment Act (Chapter 93) to report for National Service (NS) registration/documentation and medical screening on:

DATE: 04/07/2007
TIME: 09:00AM
PLACE: Central Manpower Base, NS Registration and Enlistment Centre

Please bring along this Further Reporting Order and the following documents:

a. National Registration Identity Card

b. Original and duplicate copy of all education certificates for private or overseas courses (if any)

c. Medical reports, hopistal appointment cards, x-ray films, blood donation card and School Health Booklet

d. Completed Family Particulars Form

e. Complete Medical screening Questionnaire with parent's signature.

f. Singapore Passport with original copy of Exit Permit No. SA ____________ (for overseas returned students only)

Ahh... finally, a confirmed medical check-up date.
Hooray!
Hopefully i'll get PES A or B. Something which i think is perfectly possible.
Clerk?
Well, I believe i'll have ALOT of chances to work in an office when i start my working life.
So I think i'll pass on that, thank you very much.

I'm pretty open to what vocation I'll be posted to. I think.

Anyway its quite comical as to why i received this
It states in the MINDEF letter that a Further Reporting Order is a notice which notifies you to report for NS documentation.... You will receive this notice when you failed to complete your NS registration/documentation within the stipulated deadline as stated in the earlier Notice for NS registration sent to you...

uh.. strange.
I sent them everything that was required.
Then they canceled my medical check up date, because a tape match with SP showed I'll only grad in March 2008.

And the reason they previously sent me the NS documentation letter is because i sent them a letter and proof to show my graduation in Sept 2007. Then they checked and canceled.
Then now, they send me this.
LOL damn funny lor.
And i called them, they said cause i did not book a date, thats why i got this order.
When the fact is that i actually booked, and they canceled it-.-
but oh well.
Its 9am, so dont have to return another day, cause it'll take like a couple of hours there.

Claymore.
Tuesday, June 12, 2007

Claymore is an excellent Japanese animation, with great re-playability.

Period.
There isnt any bad points to this animation.
Period.

Heres the summary to the animation, courtesy of crunchyroll.com

Of course, you can view the animation there too!

The summary does not obviously do justice to Claymore, because its really more about fighting yomas.
Theres also revenge, internal conflicts within the organisation, not to mention the action scenes..
ohhh. if only all animation would be like that.

watch it.
otherwise dont call yourself an anime supporter.

Description:
Alternative title:
クレイモア (Japanese)

In this world, from ancient times, people were eaten by beings called "youma". For a long time, people lived without any means to counter them. However, a half-human, half-youma female warrior was born.... Female soldiers known as "Claymore" who, with silver eyes that can see through to the true form of "youma", and carry a large sword as a weapon, continue to battle those which people have named "youma".
